Last updated: 9 June 2026
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit or buy from snagtights.eu or snagtights.de (the “Site”). We’ve tried to keep it clear and free of jargon. It doesn’t take away any of the rights you have under data-protection law.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Snag Europe B.V., John M. Keynesplein 1, 1066 EP Amsterdam, the Netherlands (registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under no. 77985338). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@snagtights.com.

Information we collect automatically — when you browse the Site we collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, time zone, the pages and products you view, and how you arrived at the Site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
How we use your data, and our lawful basis

- To manage your account, if you create one. Lawful basis: performance of our contract.
- To send you marketing by email or SMS, where you’ve asked us to. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records. Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
Who we share your data with
We share your personal data only with the providers who help us run our business, and only what they need. They act on our instructions and aren’t allowed to use your data for their own purposes. They include:
- Store platform and hosting — Shopify, which powers our online store.
- Payments — Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna and Mollie. For pre-orders, payments and related customer data are handled by Purple Dot.
- Fulfilment and delivery — our group company Snag Group Limited (UK), which fulfils orders from our Livingston warehouse on our behalf; and our carriers, Evri for orders sent from the EU and DHL for orders sent from the UK.
- Email and SMS marketing — Klaviyo.
- Customer service and returns — Kustomer.
- Analytics and advertising — Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit, which help us understand how the Site is used and measure and deliver our advertising.
We may also disclose personal data where we’re legally required to — for example to comply with a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our legal rights.
Sending data outside the EEA
Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United Kingdom and the United States. Where we transfer your data outside the EEA, we make sure it stays protected — by relying on a European Commission adequacy decision (for example for the UK), the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it. As a guide:
- Order and transaction records — up to 7 years, to meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- Account information — for as long as your account is active, and for up to 3 years after your last activity, after which we’ll close and delete it (or sooner if you ask).
- Marketing data — until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we keep a minimal record so we know not to contact you.
- Customer-service messages — up to 3 years after your query is resolved.
- Cookie and analytics data — for the lifetime of the relevant cookie, typically up to around 2 years.
Os seus direitos
Under data-protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted, restricted or ported to another provider. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, just email privacy@snagtights.com.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority. As our lead supervisory authority is in the Netherlands, that’s the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Marketing
If you’ve opted in to hear from us, you can opt out any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, the opt-out in any SMS, or by emailing us. You can also control personalised advertising through your account settings with Google, Meta, TikTok and Reddit, and through your cookie preferences on the Site.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and support our advertising. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and change your choice at any time, through the cookie settings on the Site. Essential cookies are needed for the Site to function and can’t be switched off.
Children
The Site isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
