This is your chuck-it-on-over-everything cardy. Chunky, oversized and gloriously cosy, our Comfy Cardy in rich Burgundy is the layer you'll live in from the first hint of autumn.

It's knitted from our special 100% cotton yarn, spun to feel soft, springy and woolly while keeping the natural breathability and temperature regulation of cotton.

The relaxed, bum-covering shape has dropped shoulders and generous balloon sleeves, finished with snug cuffs so they stay out of the way and out of your tea.

There's no fastening, so just throw it on and wrap it around yourself when you need some extra cosy.

Wear it over absolutely anything indoors, layer it up for chilly days, or add a belt and let it take the place of a coat when autumn is dry and crisp.

Fit note: A relaxed, oversized fit with plenty of room to layer, designed to sit slouchy rather than fitted.

Care: Delicate wash on a wool cycle at 30 degrees. Wash with similar colours. Reshape whilst damp. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat. Cool iron. Dry clean. Due to the nature of the yarn, some pilling may occur.

Do cardigans have pockets?

Yes, ours do, whether that's the deep front pockets on our oversized styles or the smaller patch pockets on our shorter, cotton cardigans. It's a small detail but one that we at Snag build in as standard rather than an afterthought.

Are cardigans true to size?

Yes, ours are, though we size by our own Snag size guide rather than standard dress-size numbers, so it's worth checking that to find your fit. We'd always recommend ordering your actual size rather than sizing up for comfort.

Do all cardigan sizes have the same number of buttons?

No, not on ours. Our smaller sizes have three buttons down the front while our larger sizes have four, since that keeps the spacing and proportions right rather than just stretching the same layout bigger.

What fabric are cardigans made from?

It depends on the style. Some of ours are 100% polyamide for a fluffier, cosier feel, while others are 100% cotton for something lighter you can wear across more of the year, so it's worth checking the product page for the exact fabric.
