Construction & fit: Long-sleeved top in stretchy mesh lace with a rose and leaf pattern, with thumbholes at the cuffs. The same shape as our classic mesh top. Semi-sheer, with the rose pattern softening the sheerness. Soft on the skin, with none of the scratchiness of traditional lace.
Fit note: It has the same stretch as our regular mesh tops. Wear it on its own or layered under a dress.

Care: Gentle machine wash at 30°C. Wash with similar colours. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron on reverse. Do not dry clean.

What do you wear under a mesh top?

Most people wear a bralette, bandeau or cami underneath, since mesh is sheer by design. We'd pair ours with our Snag Cotton Comfort Bralette if you want something that shows through the mesh rather than disappears under it.

Are mesh tops see through?

Yep! Mesh is an open, sheer weave that lets you see through to whatever's underneath, and how much shows depends on the weave and the colour, with darker shades generally showing less than pale ones.

What is mesh fabric made from?

At Snag, our mesh is a polyester and elastane blend, which gives you the open, see-through weave along with enough stretch to move with you. It's a completely different fabric from fishnet, which is knotted rather than woven.

Are mesh tops true to size?

Yes, ours are, though we size by our own Snag size guide rather than standard dress-size numbers. It's worth checking that to find your fit, since every size is fitted on real bodies rather than scaled from one sample, so there's no need to size up for comfort.

How do I style a mesh top?

A mesh top works well layered over a bralette or vest for everyday wear, or worn on its own over jeans or a skirt for a going out look. It's less about one right way and more about how much you want to layer underneath!
