A Celebration of the Unfiltered World
The Snag Tarot Deck was two years in the making - a deep dive into art, history, and the defiant spirit of women who refuse to be controlled. This isn’t just a deck; it is a beautifully drawn celebration of the real, unfiltered world we actually live in. Created in collaboration with Scottish tattoo artist Sophie, every one of the 78 cards has been hand-drawn in her signature style. Think strong, expressive women, striking colour, and symbolism that pulls you in. From The High Priestess to The Tower, each Major Arcana card carries its own story, its own mood, and its own moment of truth.
This deck is rooted in Ostara, the Spring Equinox, and the history of women who refused to be silenced. In Scotland, accusations of witchcraft were used for centuries to dispossess women who stepped outside what was expected of them. This deck honours that spirit. It is an invitation to trust your instincts, reconnect with your intuition, and find your own path - whether you pull one card in the morning or sit down for a full spread.
The Beauty of the 'Messy Part'
Before the final ink hit the paper and the 78 cards were complete, there were months of concepts and messy sketches. Sophie wanted to share a look into the reality of the creative process:
"I thought about picking and posting my favourite completed cards, and then I thought, why not show a wee bit more of the messy part? Because for the last couple of years, this has been the reality. So, I hope you enjoy having a wee look at the ideas and how the images were built up. I’m sad to leave these characters behind, but I’m so excited to build on this going forward."

From Sketchbook to Collector’s Piece
The result of those two years is a full, tactile collector’s piece. The final deck features all 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana, each rich with personality and finished with shimmering gold foil edges. Every detail was considered, from the magnetic presentation box designed by Sophie to the sustainable cotton bag for safe-keeping. We’ve even included a digital guide to help you build your confidence with every pull. It’s a deck born from huge demand - a piece of magic designed to meet you exactly where you are.
Beyond the Cards
The journey didn’t stop at the cards. Our design team spent months ensuring Sophie’s complex, raw artworks translated perfectly into ethically made clothing. It wasn’t just about printing an image; it was about choosing the right canvas. The team obsessed over which illustration suited which silhouette - matching the bold energy of the Major Arcana to the specific cut of our tees to ensure the artwork felt like it belonged on the body, not just on the fabric.
Translating the Magic
Once the designs were mapped, the real work began. We spent months refining the technical details that make a Snag tee different. This meant endless rounds of testing to perfect the print placement across our entire size range, ensuring the design looks just as striking on a size 32 as it does on a size 66. From precise colour matching to ensure Sophie’s vibrant palette stayed true on cotton, to adjusting the fit of the garments themselves, we worked to ensure every piece emboldens you to return to the light.
