At the centre of it all is a brand new Tarot Deck, hand drawn over two years by independent Scottish artist Sophie Bellingham. Every single card has been reimagined in her distinctive style, free from the legacy of the male gaze, so that everyone who picks it up can see themselves in the cards.

Why are Snag celebrating witches?
We did say we're smashing the patriarchy one pair of tights at a time.
As a Scottish feminist brand, we have always been drawn to the history of so-called witches. Historically, accusations of witchcraft were used as a tool to strip women of their economic and social independence. Traditional ale wives, for example, were targeted simply for running successful businesses. During the Scottish witch trials of the 1600s, these accusations were routinely used to seize property from wealthy women and hand it to men favoured by the king.
This collection is about reclaiming that history, celebrating defiant women, and taking back the narrative.
Where was the collection designed?
Our clothing was designed in London by our in-house design team, and the Tarot Deck was hand drawn in Scotland by tattoo artist Sophie.
What is included with the Tarot Deck?
Your deck comes with everything you need to get started. Inside the magnetic closure presentation box you will find all 78 beautifully illustrated cards with gold foil edges, a sustainable cotton pouch to keep them safe, and we'll email you a downloadable digital guide to help you get to know every card.
How do I use the Tarot Deck if I'm a beginner?
You do not need any experience to use this deck. Start simple. Shuffle the cards, ask a question you have been sitting with, and pull one card. Read what it means, and see what resonates.
A good place to start is asking "What am I not seeing clearly?" It is open enough to let the card do its work without leading you somewhere specific, and you might be surprised what comes up.
Tarot is not about predicting the future. It is a tool for reflection, for slowing down and checking in with yourself. There are no wrong answers and no rules you have to follow. The more you use it, the more it starts to feel like your own.
What are the meaning of the Tarot cards?
The High Priestess is card II of the Major Arcana. She represents mystery, inner knowledge, and the power of trusting your intuition. Deeply connected to divine feminine energy and the subconscious, she is a reminder that you already know more than you think you do. If you find yourself drawn to our High Priestess Boxy T-shirt, consider it your daily nudge to listen to your gut.
Despite the name, the Death card (Major Arcana XIII) is one of the most positive cards in the deck. It stands for transformation, renewal, and releasing what no longer serves you. Think of it less as an ending and more as clearing space for something much better to come in.
The Lovers (Major Arcana VI) is about making meaningful choices rooted in your core values. Whether that shows up in a relationship or a major life decision, this card is an invitation to align with your truest self and choose accordingly.
Is the collection ethically made and size inclusive?
Absolutely. We believe every body has the right to comfortable, high-quality, ethically made clothes that actually fit them.
Our graphic tees are made with 95% organic cotton, and the main fabric in our Maxi Mesh Skirts is 100% recycled polyester. Everything in the collection, from our Wrap Dresses to our Boxy T-shirts, is available from EU size 32 to 66.
