When will you dispatch my order/pre-order?

Once we have shipped them the time they take to arrive will depend on which delivery option you chose. We currently don't dispatch on weekends or public holidays, but we are hoping to start doing this soon.

Despatch time for Pre-orders

We often offer products on pre-order which allow you to secure your pair. For more specific information regarding your pre-order window and timeframe, please refer below.

Jamie x Snag Preorder

Our Jamie x Snag Pre-order closed on 30th September.

We anticipate 8-10 weeks, after the closing date, to make your order. Deliveries are expected to start in Mid / Late December.

Second Chance Preorder

Our Second Chance pre-order will remain open until 23:59 GMT, 31st October 2021. After this point we will close for pre-orders.

We currently estimate 10-12 weeks, after the closing date, to make your order. Deliveries are currently expected to start at the end of January.

How long does delivery take?

Our warehouse is based in Scotland. Standard shipping in the UK can take up to 5 days to deliver after we ship.

Usually, for international orders tracked standard delivery usually takes between 5 and 14 days where as untracked delivery can take between 15-28 days.

How much is delivery?

We know how annoying shipping charges are and we are constantly trying to get you the cheapest shipping we can. Wherever we can we use postal delivery rather than couriers - this does mean the price you pay is based on the weight of the order, but overall it gives us the lowest cost for an average order.


Standard delivery is available for all orders and costs £3.75

International Customers:

Standard untracked shipping for our international customers starts from the following prices:

South America: £14.30

Africa: £17.49 (tracked only)

Rest of Europe (Non EU): £8.75

South East Asia: £9.95

Rest of Asia: £4.99 (varies by country)

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order at any time before your tights are dispatched just by emailing us on hello@snagtights.com. After you receive your tights you can cancel for up to 14 days by just sending us back your unused tights. Unfortunately we can't accept cancellations if you've tried on the tights.

Can I return or exchange them?

If you're not 100% satisfied with any aspect of our product or service, you can return your unworn item to us within 28 days of purchase for an exchange or full refund including your original shipping costs.

To process a return or exchange, just drop us a message at returns@snagtights.com and we'll send you instructions. Please note that you will be liable for return shipping costs (and remember to keep proof of postage!)

Hygiene is really important to us and our customers so some items cannot be returned, including:

  • - Tights are intimates like underwear and cannot be returned once tried on.
  • - Swimwear - if the hygiene seal is not intact or any labels have been broken / removed.

None of this affects your statutory rights.

It's OK to try an item on like you would in a shop (except our tights), but please don't actually wear it out. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn or in an unsuitable condition, we won't be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). All items are inspected on return. In order to receive a full refund, all items must be returned to us unworn/unused and in the same condition you received them with their original packaging and all tags and labels.

Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so make sure they're packed up properly and can't get damaged on the way! Always ensure that you get proof of postage in case you need to contact us about your return.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at returns@snagtights.com

Why are some products on preorder?

Some of our really popular products sell out quite quickly and we wanted to make sure nobody missed out. We're offering popular items on pre-order so that you can secure your pair. When the item arrives in the Snag warehouse, we'll ship it straight out to you. This can take anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks. If the item comes back into stock sooner, any pre-orders will be fulfilled right away. We'll send you an email when your order is out the door!

The product page will let you know if an item is available for pre-order and we'll also let you know in the confirmation email which items are pre-order. You can order currently available items with pre-order items. We will be holding all orders that contain a pre-ordered item. 

We understand this is a shift in the way we operate, but we’re committed to sustainability and ethics and splitting orders into a few different parts has really increased our carbon footprint.

It’d be awesome if you could help us with this by waiting, but should you wish your order to be split and the in stock items sent to you, we can arrange this for you.

What are your products made out of?

Our tights are made from 88% polyamide, 10% elastane and 2% cotton.

Our wool tights are 50% merino wool, 40% polyamide and 10% elastane. We only use ethically sourced wool from New Zealand.

Our Leggings are made from 69% Ecovero Viscose, 26% Recycled Polyamide, 5% Elastane. Ecovero Viscose generates 50% less emissions and water impact than generic viscose.

How do I care for my tights?

We recommend washing them on their own for the first time and washing them before wearing as the colour - does not always but - may transfer. Officially you should hand wash them using a 'non-aggressive' detergent (although why anyone would ever want an aggressive detergent is beyond us!). As busy people, we usually just stick them in a 40-degree wash inside a pillowcase or lingerie bag. Please do take care when drying them though - squeeze dry only and avoid direct heat, as it can degrade the stretch.

Snag Tights is a trading name of Snag Group Ltd. We are a registered Scottish company. Our registration number is SC572528, and our registered address is Unit 4 Drummond Square, Brucefield Industrial Estate, Livingston, Scotland, EH54 9DH. Snag was founded by Brie Read and you can contact her on brie@snagtights.com

What do you do with my data?

We keep your name, address and contact details like phone and email on our system to help us provide you with a better service and deal with any problems you might have with your order or products. We may use the email address you give us to contact you if there is a problem with your order, but we don't send marketing emails.

When you visit our website, we use third-party services from Google Analytics and Facebook to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out such things as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not provide Google or Facebook with any of the personal data that you provide to us.

We will not share your information with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing. We will share your information with the companies that help us provide our services to you, such as delivery companies. These companies will only use the information we give them for the purpose of fulfilling the service you have requested.

We do not store any payment details or credit card details you use for your purchase - that's all securely handled by the payment providers we use. If you ever want us to get rid of the personal information you've given us please just contact us using the details below and we'll be happy to do so.
