Renee has quietly transformed what is possible in tights design at Snag. With a rare combination of creative vision, deep technical understanding of knitted fabrics and an unstoppable curiosity, she has helped push the boundaries of what tights can be. Working closely with Francesco, the technical expert at our tights manufacturer, the two have developed something of a reputation for achieving the impossible. If it can be imagined, somehow they find a way to knit it. Launch after launch, they continue to rewrite the rules.
Joining Snag felt a little like fate. Renee had long admired the brand as a customer and small business owner herself, while Brie had been a fan of Renee's work. When their paths finally crossed, it felt like a match made in heaven.
For more than thirteen years Renee has lived in the world of fibre and yarn. She began with knitting, then gradually expanded into designing her own patterns and hand dyeing yarn — originally just to understand every part of the craft and fuel what she jokingly calls her "yarn habit."
But it quickly became something bigger. Creating patterns and dyeing colours that didn't yet exist in the fibre world allowed her to bring her own aesthetic to life. Through her brand, Crow and Crescent Yarn, she spent the last five years sharing those designs with a growing community, building the knowledge and confidence that would eventually lead her to Snag.
Art and design have always been part of Renee's life. Whether she's drawing, painting, decorating a space or designing packaging, she loves the process of taking an idea and making it real. Her aesthetic leans delightfully gothic, full of dark beauty, symbolism and a touch of the spooky, and she brings that same sense of meaning and intention into the tights she designs.
Once she has a vision in her mind, she will not rest until she has found a way to manifest it — with so much heart, humour and a rascal's respect for the rules.
Do the things that scare you. Every turning point comes from choosing the unknown over the safer option. There is so much power in dreaming something into being.

As Snag's NPD Country Manager in Turkey, she oversees the development and production of our garments with a calm authority that comes from nearly three decades in the industry. With 27 years of experience working in factories and agencies at senior level, managing manufacturing for premium brands, there is very little she has not seen. No last minute fit adjustment, no fabric change, no ambitious idea is ever too much. Somehow, she makes it happen. On time. To the highest standards. Nükhet's standards.
She graduated in Business Administration, but her love of clothing began long before that. Even as a child, clothes were her passion. For Nükhet, what we wear matters — she believes the first impression we make is shaped by how we present ourselves, and she wants everyone, regardless of size, to wear clothes they truly love.
At Snag, she found a home where those values are shared. The development and fit processes can be long and demanding, with rigorous testing before production ever begins. It can be stressful. But the messages from customers — women who finally feel seen and confident in their clothes — make every step worthwhile.

Lilia joined Snag on the opening day for the warehouse as a temporary worker, and it is impossible to imagine the place without her now. Born and raised on a mango farm in Brazil, she has lived a life full of adventure, from the USA to Portugal, before finally landing in rainy Livingston, Scotland. Wherever she has been, she has brought the same warmth, determination and quiet strength.
From day one, Lilia led by example. She worked hard, cared deeply and supported everyone around her, growing into her role until she became our warehouse manager, leading the entire team with confidence and kindness.
Alongside this, she is also mum to two beautiful, spirited daughters, juggling everything life throws at her with resilience and grace.
Through every high and low, Lilia's smile is always ready to appear, and her strength never wavers. She is dependable, inspiring and endlessly supportive — the kind of leader people trust and want to follow.
To us, she is our warehouse wonder woman, and we are so lucky to have her. The only time we fear her is when she shows us her overtime face!!
