Thinner or cheaper fabrics are more likely to do this, since there's less material to stretch across. Our leggings are made from a thicker fabric that's tested on real bodies in movement specifically to stay opaque, not just when standing still.

Leggings are made from a thicker, more structured fabric than tights, so they hold their shape more like trousers than a sheer layer. Our leggings use a fully opaque, squat-proof fabric, while our tights are thinner and stretchier, built to layer under something else. If you want a standalone bottom rather than a layering piece, leggings are the one to reach for.

Every pair of Snag leggings comes with pockets, deep enough to actually hold your phone without sagging or shifting while you move. It's built into the whole leggings range, from the Squat-Proof classics to the fleece-lined and wide leg styles.

Machine wash Snag leggings at 30 degrees with similar colours, and skip the bleach and tumble dryer to keep the fabric looking its best. If you need to iron them, use a cool setting on the reverse side rather than directly on the fabric. They're properly machine washable, so there's no need to handwash them the way you would sheer tights.

Go with your usual Snag size, leggings are sized the same way as the rest of the range, across sizes 4 to 38, and come in short and long leg lengths so you can pick what actually fits your height. If you're between two sizes, sizing down tends to give a more supportive fit since the fabric has a good amount of stretch built in.
