How should a blazer fit?

A well-fitting blazer sits close through the shoulders and waist without pulling across the back or gaping at the button. Snag's Tailored Ponte Roma Stretch Blazer is a fitted, tailored style, and even though the fabric has stretch built in, it's designed to sit close to the body, so it's worth going with your usual size rather than sizing up for comfort.

Is a stretch blazer as smart as a regular tailored blazer?

Yes, this blazer has shoulder pads sewn in and a single back vent, the same structural details you'd expect from a classic tailored blazer. The difference is the Ponte Roma fabric, which has four-way stretch and holds its shape through wearing and washing, so you get the tailored look with room to move.

What do you wear a black blazer with?

It pairs easily with Snags Ponte Roma Tailoring Trousers or Plaid Wide Leg Trousers, or with the Pencil Skirt, Flare Skirt or the new Tailoring Dress for a co-ordinated look. It also works thrown over jeans and a top if you want to dress things down.

Do blazers have pockets?

This one does! Yes, it has functional front pockets built into the tailoring, along with three functioning buttons down the front. It's finished with a butterfly lining at the back in a matte sateen fabric.

What are blazers made from?

The main fabrics in the Snag blazer are 74% LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, 22% recycled polyamide and 4% elastane, the same Ponte Roma fabric used in Snag's V2 leggings, wide leg leggings and kick flares. It's soft, breathable and has excellent stretch and recovery.
