Les collants risquent de se coincer dans le tambour de la machine à laver ; il est donc recommandé de les laver à la main ou de les placer dans une taie d'oreiller ou un sac à linge pour les protéger. Essorez-les toujours à la main, ne les mettez pas au sèche-linge et évitez toute source de chaleur directe, car cela altère leur élasticité.
